This report was created for financials, but acts as a great resource for the Purchasing & Product Departments. It may be utilized as a tool to find missing products by UPC or MFG number. It outputs “Success” (what is in our system, along with sales data) or “Failure” (not in our system).
You will need to have a notepad/plain text file of the UPC or the MFG number. That is the only thing that should be on the document, no header.
- Select whether you are using UPC or MFG
- Select the appropriate Site Name, Manufacturer, Product Class(es)
- Product Status: Since our goal is simply to see what is in the system, we want them all to be selected.
- Start Date I use 2008 or 2009 to be sure I got everything
It will export your results in Excel.
