Creating Assortment Pricing When There is No Individual Cost
Price must always be greater than cost.
Here’s our example. Assortment 135903 has a wholesale cost of $39.84. It has 4 puzzles and a total of 16 pieces in the carton. The math is 39.84 (cost of assortment) / 16 (total individual puzzles in assortment) = 2.49.
Puzzle cost = $2.49
Puzzle price = $4.99
Product Group pricing must also be added. Product Group pricing = individual cost less discaount. Assortment Product pricing = wholesale cost of entire assortment.
